More About Me
What up?! Lets see. Where to start...ok, I'm a total music freak! I listen to anything and everything, from rap to country, big bands, gluegrass, classical (a favorite), latin, DRUM CORPS! I dig it all.

I am a musician. Percussionist to be exact. That probably explains alot. I also enjoy giving lessons at my alma mater as well as, composing music for their drumline, conducting rehearsles, traveling and teching on weekend competitions, sponsering, supporting, whatever. I just dig seeing the kids enjoy themselves, explore their musical capabilities/talents, and succeeding all at the same time.

I myself am a performing artist as well. I have had the honor of being able to be apart of three international traveling percussion ensembles including; Americanos Drum and Bugle Corps, Colts Drum and Bugle Corps, and Gateway Indoor Percussion. These organizations have allowed me to travel to places some of which I might never get to go to again. I have been to all fifty states, Canada, England, Japan and South America. I would have to say, weird yes, but South America would have to be my favorite so far because one of my best bro's is from Chili so he has taught me extensively about the continent, its culture, and its geography. I'm from California and deffinently want to go back! I seriously miss, "Throwing Punches at Ocean Waves"- name that band.

I played sports through school. Football, baseball, soccer, track, the usual, but when I was close to graduating I had to choose which one would take me further in life, sports or music....................... Music. Music, Music, Music. I'm all about finding new groups to listen to so if you have one you think I might not of heard of, LET ME KNOW! PLEASE!

I now live in the middle of the bible belt in a capital city and cannot stand it! It's so political and uptight. Of course this is to be expected. Odd, but I have very few friends. Although, those I do have, I have had for a very long time and will have forever. I have yet to meet anyone like us where I am but would certainly like to. I'm single and have been for a while now. It's not so bad, but, being involved isnt so bad either. I would REALLY like to meet someone with some particular common interests though. I cant figure out why, but I cant get enough biting. Hmm, I wonder why. Not to say that I just randomly go around biting people i dont know, it only comes out when I'm involved with someone. I also look forward to making new friends here and learning more about myself as well.

I'm close to my family but they just have no idea, well, I take that back. They do have an idea, they just choose to overlook the idea which is just fine. Very few of my very few friends also have an idea and don't mind at all. They're just not interested which is perfectly fine to. Like said before, i would like to have some friends or someone who IS interested. I'm totally making it sound like I hide my true identity which isnt the case. I just choose not to persue the thought if someone's not interested. If they are, AWESOME!

Well I'm multitasking like crazy right now so I'm sure I've left alot out and I apologize, but thats all I can really think of at the moment.

Thanx all for accepting my presence here, and to all a good night ; )

A Little Something from the Heart

I’m glad I came to this life. Honestly, I don’t know what took me so long. I guess it took individuals like ourselves and our life stories to me make it special to me. To make it personal. So many of the good times traveling this world relates directly to finding a similar face to associate with your destination. With the people you meet and the memories who keep with you forever. The best times are when it’s impossible to be sinecal about anything. When you find yourself letting go of the past, and your preconceptions, and viewing yourself in your basic nature, the snarkieness of suspicion, the irony and doubt disappear. At least for a time. When for a few moments, or a whole lifetime, you change. Sometimes something in you just needs to be kicked loose from its shell. But through self perseverance and persistence and a fervent belief in something as fundamental as your family, or your country and their inherent goodness, someone pulls you out of yourself. A close friend of mine did that for me.
